Southeast Alternative School (SAS) is a private day school, licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Education, with the mission of providing flexible, individualized, professional services— whatever it takes—to help students achieve their goals. We offer support to parents and have an open door, parents-as-partners philosophy. We believe in the potential of every student. Our staff is committed to their students and to our mission. Our therapeutic environment provides a safe harbor where students can discover and build on their strengths. Southeast Alternative School promotes the development of the whole individual through academic, social, vocational and emotional skill development, providing a place for students to flourish. Southeast Alternative School is dedicated to the personal success of each individual. We are here to support students through the rough seas they and their parents encounter on their way through adolescence and into young adulthood.
